In this unit, students will discover what Thanksgiving means by reading different sources and watching videos related to the topic. In other words, students will get to know the origins and history of the celebration with a critical eye. Moreover, by the end of the unit students will learn how to write an informal email about a celebration and a Thanksgiving Haiku that will reflect the thankful spirit of the celebration.
